Managing Accounts in SAGE

SAGE has a built-in account management system that allows you to import, export and manage your accounts.

The account gallery is a list of all the accounts you have imported into or created using SAGE. You can access the account gallery by clicking on the Accounts tab in the header.

Accounts are displayed in a huge table with toggle-able columns. Click on ... to the very right to enable and disable columns. Clicking on a column header will sort the accounts by that column, clicking again will reverse the order.

Importing Accounts

To import accounts, click on the Import button in the account gallery. You can either import accounts from a Share-URL or manually enter the account details.

Exporting Accounts

You can export accounts by selecting them in the account gallery and clicking on the Export button. You can choose to export the accounts as a Share-URL or as a file (username:password format or JSON).

Share URL

Share URLs are a way to share accounts with other users. When you export accounts as a Share-URL, you will receive a URL that you can share with others. When they open the URL, they can immediately see the account details in their browser!

Account Details

When clicking on Details in the account gallery, you can see the details of an account. This includes the username, password, email, notes, and the date the account was created.

Email

If your account was generated using SAGE, you can see and access the email address associated with the account.

Steam Guard

If you’ve added Mobile Authenticator to your account, you can see the Steam Guard code for the account. This code is updated every 30 seconds.

You can also see & accept pending confirmations (like trades) for the account.

Tags

You can add tags to your accounts to categorize them. Tags can be used to filter accounts in the account gallery. To create a tag, go to Settings > Account Info and create a new tag. You can then assign this tag to your accounts.

Special Tags

There are some special tags that you can assign to accoutns:

  • hidden - This tag will hide the account from the account gallery. You can still access the account by searching for it.
  • bantracker - This tag will mark the account to be tracked by the Ban Tracker. The Ban Tracker will automatically check the VAC and Game Ban status of the account and notify you if the status changes.

Notes

You can add notes to your accounts to store additional information. Notes can be used to store information like security questions, recovery codes, or other important information.

Searching

You can search for accounts in the account gallery using the search bar. You can search for accounts by username, email, notes, or tags.

The search bar supports advanced search queries. You can use : to search for specific fields. For example, username:example will search for accounts with the username example.

See Filter for more information on advanced search queries.

Synchronization

You can use Cloud Synchronization to synchronize your accounts across devices. This allows you to access your accounts on all your devices.

Account Security

Accounts are generated and stored locally on your device only. SAGE does not store any account information on our servers. You can choose to synchronize your accounts using Cloud Synchronization, but this is optional and end-to-end encrypted.

The only thing we see are emails coming into our system, once the email is read or expires, we have no further knowledge your account even exists. Nor we ever know your steam id, password, steamguard data or anything sensitive.

However, some features (like Ban Tracker) inevitably share some information with us or third-parties. You can review your currently shared data in Settings > Account > Privacy.

How do I delete an account?

You cannot delete an account from the account gallery. As a workaround, you can add the hidden tag to the account to hide it from the account gallery.
