Managing Steam Guard with SAGE
When you create accounts, they will be protected by Steam Guard when you login.
Using SAGE you can automatically disable Steam Guard for the accounts you create or enable Steam Guard Mobile (without a Phone number!).
Steam Guard Pseudo-Disabled state
You may encounter this state if you have the Email (default)
option selected:
After you create an account, Steam Guard will be in a pseudo-disabled state. If you go to the settings of the account, you will see that Steam Guard is disabled, however once you login to the account on the Steam client, it will be automatically enabled.
This is likely to give you a better experience after creating a Steam account, since its unlikely that your account was stolen in the time between creating it and first logging in using the client.
This is a Steam “feature”.
Steam Guard Mobile
You can enable Steam Guard Mobile without a phone number using SAGE.
To do this, you just need to select the Mobile option in the Steam Guard settings.
You can see your current mobile login codes in the account overview. SSAGE also allows inspecting the revocation code and confirmations (Steam Support Confirmations, Trade Confirmations, etc.)
You can export the Steam Guard data to a maFile and import it using other tools
like Steam Desktop Authenticator
for missing features. (Let us know if there
is a feature you need that is not available in SAGE!)
Adding phone numbers to accounts
You can use SAGE to automatically add phone numbers to accounts after creation.
Supported providers: (in no particular order)
SAGE does not partake in any of their referral programs, there is no affiliation or recommendation expressed or implied.
If you want to have more providers added, please let us know (please also give us an API key to test with, from experience we’ll need ~10ruble to thoroughly test).
