Using Proxies in SAGE

You can use proxies to create accounts. This can be useful if you want to create accounts in bulk.

Limits

Steam limits the amount of accounts you can create per IP and per domain. You can use proxies to bypass those limits.

The per IP limit is 15 accounts per day.

We track the amount of accounts created per proxy and per domain and will automatically switch to another proxy or domain when the limit is reached. Just make sure to have enough proxies and domains in your account.

Format

Proxies are specified as regular URLs. The following protocols are supported:

  • http:// and https:// for HTTP and HTTPS proxies
  • socks4:// and socks5:// for SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxies respectively
  • ssh:// for SSH proxies

Example:

http://username:password@proxy-provider:1337
http://proxy-provider:1337
socks5://proxy-provider:1337

Limitations

  • Proxies with rotating IPs on each connection are not supported.
  • Each proxy URL needs to resolve to the same IP for limit tracking to work.

Bridges

You can use bridges to bridge unsupported proxy protocols to a normal HTTP (or similar supported) proxy protocol.

wireproxy

https://github.com/pufferffish/wireproxy

Proxy wireguard traffic to a HTTP proxy. Basically every VPN provider supports wireguard.

We do not recommend any proxy provider. Do your own research. Please stop asking us for recommendations.

We (the staff team) are developers. We do not use proxies ourselves and thus cannot recommend any provider.
